RELIABILITY: THE UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO CONSISTENCY, TRUSTWORTHINESS, AND DEPENDABLE PERFORMANCE

Reliability is crucial for success. Beyond skills and talent, being a dependable player and teammate is paramount for our athletes.

In the unpredictable world of sports, dependability is a game-changer. As legendary coach John Wooden emphasized, when athletes are reliable, teammates can count on them. It's not just about on-court execution, reliability extends to consistent effort, resilience, and trustworthiness.

Teams thrive on interdependence, making reliability crucial. Everyone has to make a commitment for their own self-determination that they will do the best job that they can every day and every play. Athletes who consistently deliver their best, regardless of circumstances, contribute to successful teams. If every individual lays the best brick that they can lay, you will end up having built something really solid as a team.

Reliability is a personal trademark. This consistency fosters trust and respect within the team. Everyone appreciates someone who consistently delivers their best.

High school athletes embodying reliability lay a foundation for success, earning the trust and respect of those around them. We want to push the boys each day to being the best version of themselves so they can serve the people around them reliably every single day!

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

To God be the glory,
