EXCELLENCE: SURPASSING THE STANDARD

In a world where faith intersects with our life everyday, excellence for Christians holds profound significance.

Striving for excellence is a form of worship. It’s a tribute to the gifts that God has given to us. It’s how we can showcase His grace and character to the world.

But what does it really mean to go “above and beyond” and “strive for excellence”? It means challenging ourselves to do more than just the basics. It's about making a difference and leaving a lasting impact. It’s about surpassing the standard

While some may settle for doing the bare minimum or just a little more than expected, true excellence lies in going above and beyond. It's about being willing to do what it takes to fulfill God's purpose for our lives for His glory.

As followers of Christ, our pursuit of excellence embodies the fruits of the Spirit, reflecting love, joy, peace, and more in every aspect of our lives. Through continual growth and reliance on God's strength, setbacks become opportunities for spiritual development on our journey toward excellence.

Ultimately, excellence is about living out our faith with integrity and humility, seeking God's righteousness above all else, and trusting in His promises. May our pursuit of excellence serve as a testament to the transformative power of God's love.

💭 QUOTE OF THE DAY

““Everybody gets tired and fatigued. So what happens when you get tired and fatigued? Something else has to kick in, and that's your habits and your mentality.”

– Dawn Staley, South Carolina WBB Head Coach

💬 VERSE OF THE DAY

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

- James 4:7-8

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

To God be the glory,
