🔨 BLOG

“The desire for rapid results doesn’t make them occur any more quickly.”

In fact, impatience just causes you to rush the building process. And a foundation laid quickly doesn't last.

The desire for speedy results stems from a genuine passion for improving our current situation.

But it's essential to recognize the potential pitfalls of this mindset. There are some dangers to quick development. Building a strong foundation is a meticulous process that requires time and attention to detail. When the focus is solely on expediting results, crucial elements can be overlooked, leading to a foundation that is unsustainable.

It’s crucial to have a patient approach to improvement. Sustainable success is a journey, not a sprint. A foundation laid quickly is similar to a house of cards. It's impressive at first glance but fragile and prone to collapse. A well-established foundation, built methodically and with precision and care provides a solid base that can withstand the tests of time and adversity.

The desire for swift results should not overshadow the importance of laying a sturdy foundation. Coaches and parents should champion patience to our athletes. Our athletes should understand that lasting achievements are built through a meticulous and unhurried building process. We say that when we fail, we learn more. Let's continue to find ways to embrace that this upcoming season!

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

To God be the glory,
