⏪️ WEEKLY RECAP

FOOTBALL

After rain moved the game from Friday to Saturday to Friday and BACK to Saturday, our football team headed on the road to face off against Holy Trinity Catholic in Temple. It was a wet game full of points and slipping and sliding! After finding themselves down 4 touchdowns, the Cardinals fought their way all the way back to take the lead with 1:45 to go.

The Celtics then proceeded to march down the field and took the final lead with 8 seconds to go.

The Cardinals played their hearts out in a nasty afternoon.

The boys will finish up their season this week in Waco against Live Oak Classical.

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
