🔨 14 WAYS TO LEAD POSITIVE
I’m currently part of a mentorship group with other leaders, executives, and coaches, and we had our first meeting last night. One of the members shared something that really resonated with me, so I wanted to pass it along to you:
Here’s 14 ways to lead positive:
1) Care more. A leader who cares builds a team that cares.
2) Build trust. Do what’s right. Integrity and honor matter.
3) Believe in the people you lead more than they believe in themselves.
4) Serve those that you lead. When you serve their growth they will help your group grow.
5) Provide both love and accountability.
6) Transform problems into opportunities and complaints into solutions.
7) Unite instead of divide.
8) Communicate. Communicate. Communicate. Where there is a void in communication negativity will fill it.
9) Pursue Excellence. You don’t have to choose between positivity and success. Being positive and pursuing excellence leads to success.
10) Change the environment instead of allowing the environment to change you.
11) Connect one on one with your group. You can’t lead someone effectively if you don’t know them.
12) Don’t allow negativity to sabotage your group. Address it and seek to transform it.
13) Listen more.
14) Clarify. Simplify. Identify what matters most. This leads to focused action and generates positive results.
Blessings on your week and those you lead and work with.

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
To God be the glory,
